About Matt

Matt at Lost Lake in Denver

Q: What's "gigaboogie?"

A: gigaboogie.com is a domain name I purchased in the 90s (yes, the NINETEEN-nineties; I know how old that makes me) for my then-record-label-turned-all-things-digital-media-business, Gigaboogie Productions Syndicate. The business was obviously a bust, but it seemed like kind of an original name, so I just held on to it.

I tend to try to do too many things at once.

I am a father & husband, product manager, product developer, UI / UX designer, recovering web designer / developer, photo / video hobbiest, Subaru ambassador, pop-art t-shirt collector, snowboarder, long boarder, metal bassist, children’s board-sport advocate, ink connoisseur, knower of useless information…

I have been professionally employed as a Staff Product Manager for global software development companies by day for over a decade. I am also the owner of Origin Snow, a Colorado-based company that specializes in the design and manufacturing of snowboards exclusively for kids.

I'm currently the bassist of three Denver-based bands: Chew Thru, Voideater, and Probes.

I’ve created this site to share some of my miscellaneous creative work. If you're curious about my professional software development and Product Management experience, please see my LinkedIn profile.

Considering most of my creative work started in the field of graphic design, you may be wondering why I don't have a dedicated "graphic design" category on this site. I consider design to be at the core of everything I do, therefore no real reason to call that out explicitly.

I typically only take pics of folks that I know, but if you do happen to find a photo of yourself up here and would like a full-size version for your personal use, please let me know!

You can find me on them internets at the following locations:
